Raindrop dreams…

 

rain
drops
soothing
colorless
like my new born dreams
in the horizon past the clouds
but their shadows dance
on my hand
hungry
and

A Goodbye…

it has been so long,
that I last wrote a song,
and shared with you;
with your friendship,
my words have grown.

alas that silence spoke,
and you felt so alone;
you said a parting word,
I wish you well, friend.

how to thank the light
for showing the way,
for renewing my hope
in darkness of night?

cannot tell much more,
but I know I must do:

time to say goodbye,
like the twilight does
in a titian dusk sky;
but I know it’ll return,
and I hope you do too.
