If only…

If only spectacles
helped the blind to see -
the world would feel nicer.

If only we saw -
A kaleidoscope
of beautiful memories,
than ashes of dead dreams;
the future with new hope,
than a fear
of past failures repeating;
and
the place where we are
this moment,
is one of many milestones
on the long road,
to that hopeful future.

If only…

Long back, my Inspire My Art page had got a suggestion, “Kaleidoscope of beautiful memories”, given by Bhawana. This is also an art painted by that inspiration. Thank you, Bhawana.

    this ‘if only…’ has such a positive direction! Usually ‘if only’s…’ go something like this: If only I had used the brakes..or …if only I had a million dollars….know what I mean? This ‘if only.’ could come true!

      That’s another question to ponder on, Brian :) How to change? But that again depends on how we feel our heartbeats going. It should want to beat for the present and future than the past, though not forgetting the past in entirety.

      Occasionally, yes. It’s the hope that matters though. We bitch so much about life’s unfairness that we drown hope along with it too those times. Thanks Tash.
